Why does Bezi prompt me to save project changes and restart Unreal when the plugin updates?
Unreal Engine only loads plugins when the editor starts up. So whenever the Bezi plugin is installed or updated, Unreal has to restart before Bezi can work in that project. Bezi asks for permission to save your work before the restart so nothing gets lost.I see a “Failed to install [Engine] Plugin” popup when I try connecting Bezi with my project.
Occasionally this error shows if an engine set-up isn’t conducive with the Bezi plugin. Please try these things (in order) to see if either resolve. If neither work, reach out to support@bezi.com for assistance.- Follow the Bezi flow to install the plugin with administrator privileges
- Download the Bezi plugin directly from our Changelog
I see a “Consent Request” popup
The popup is completely safe to accept and will only modify the scripts that make Bezi; none of your personal files will be affected. This just updates some engine APIs used in Bezi to match whatever version you’re working in.How do I know if Bezi is connected to my project?
The connection indicators in your project and Bezi app will both be green if they’re connected. If either are red, the connection is broken and the apps cannot communicate. If you’ve installed the plugin but Bezi and the project aren’t successfully connected, see the question below about troubleshooting a failed or lost connection.

How do I manually update or reinstall Bezi’s Engine plugins?
