Teams
Create dedicated workspaces for collaborating on design files, managing shared assets, and organizing shared or individual work.
When to use teams
Teams are a helpful for collaboration and organization across files and shared libraries. All team members can access the files, material styles, and components that live in the team folder. To learn more about how assets are shared within teams, visit the Team Library documentation.

Go to the Editor Home, also known as ‘Files page’ (where all files, teams, and account settings can be accessed)

Find the Teams section in the left sidebar

Select the + icon next to Teams

Type the team name in the dialog

Click continue or press
Enter
to save -
Team members can be added in this step or later on
Inviting and managing team members
Inviting and managing team members
A team must be created before members can be invited or removed.

Go to the Editor Home, aka the ‘Files page’

Select the desired team from the Teams section in the left sidebar

Click the dropdown next to the team name, at the top of the page
To invite new team members:

Select Add members from the dropdown next to the team name

Add the invitee emails in the dialog

Click Submit to send invites

Reach out to the invitees to ensure the invite did not end up in a spam folder
To manage and remove existing team members:

Select Settings from the dropdown next to the team name

View all active and invited team members under the Members section

Click the dropdown next to the a team member’s name

Select Remove from team from the dropdown

The team member’s name will disappear from the Members section once removed

Go to the Editor Home, aka the ‘Files page’

Select the desired file

Drag the file and and drop into the team folder in the left sidebar
Deleting a team
Deleting a team
Deleting a team will permanently delete the team and all its files. Before making this change, please make sure that all team members agree this is the desired outcome.

Go to the Editor Home, aka the ‘Files page’

Select the desired team from the Teams section in the left sidebar

Click the dropdown next to the team name, at the top of the page

Select Settings from the dropdown

Navigate to the bottom of the team’s Settings page

Click the Delete team button
-
Type the team name into the dialog

Click the Permanently delete button
